Stained Glass Ornament - Bumble Bee

Rebecca Maher is a second generation stained glass artist residing in Alberta, Canada. She learned the art form from her father who continues to create stained glass art from his home in British Columbia, Canada . Specializing in both the copper foil (Tiffany) or lead came techniques for stained glass, Rebecca then selects glass, cuts, grinds, foils/leads and solders each piece together. Some pieces are finished with a patina (turning the silver solder to either black or silver) and/or framed (metal or wood); all pieces are cleaned, waxed and polished.
